Monument has established an advisory business headed by Dr Stephen Dolbear. Dr Dolbear has a background in investment banking followed by a successful period in fund management and has extensive experience of derivatives based products including involvement in the creation of many complex structured products that have since been widely used.

The depth of market knowledge within this team coupled with computational skills across a wide range of complex financial market products enables them to provide expert advice, valuations and solutions in the areas of market risk and pricing.

He is assisted by Dr Paul Wesson and they also have a wide circle of academics, practitioners and investment banking contacts whose additional expertise can be drawn upon.

Overall the team are able to deliver solutions and add clarity to some of the most complex issues facing the financial derivatives industry.
